On the llth hour of the llth day of the 11th month, Calumet Park Cemetery conducted a somber and honorable salute to all veterans. Pat O’Donnell from WJOB radio (does a regular broadcast called Veterans Views) was the featured speaker. He was eloquent and forceful in his commentary on the debt owed to all veterans and their families.
Paul Vogel II opened the remembrance ceremony with some well chosen thoughts on veterans with a short prayer and thank you for those who came out on a perfectly sunny and glorious November day.
Tony, Romeo and Vince Rendina came early to get good seats. All are veterans who have served their nation with great honor.
