Set in the peaceful surroundings of the Veteran Section (Section 17) at Calumet Park Cemetery, the new bronze statue of the kneeling soldier saying a prayer over a fallen comrade is ready for inurnments.  An inurnment is the permanent placement of ashes.  As you can see in the photo above, the statue overlooks the Battle of the Bulge memorial.  Special landscaping including benches, flags and plantings will make this spot a place for the ages.  A special dedication is planned in the Spring.  Visit now pre-plan your niche while choice selections are available.

For more info on this and other Calumet Park goings on, go to calumetparkcemetery.com or call for a personal tour of the cemetery and the funeral home.  The cemetery office is at 219-769-8803 and the funeral office is 219-736-5840.
